Block by Block: The Amulet to be Delayed Indefinitely

For many years, many fans in the Minecraft: Story Mode community have longed for more content, regarding the now-defunct game. A spark of hope reignited when animator and YouTuber WazzyWorks released the teaser trailer for Block by Block: The Amulet, an upcoming fan-made Minecraft: Story Mode web series. Released on August 30, 2024, the series quickly became a highly anticipated project, one that got so many fans excited for more Minecraft: Story Mode content.

But for over a year, there have been no other major updates, apart from a Christmas special render. Even when four new stills were released on August 30, 2025, a year after the trailer's release, there was nothing else, apart from talks of progress behind the scenes.

After a couple more months of silence, there has been an official update, regarding Block by Block: The Amulet, and it was something many fans did not expect, but understood well.

On October 16, 2025, WazzyWorks, the director and creator of Block by Block: The Amulet released an official statement on the official Discord server, regarding the production and process of the highly anticipated series.

In the statement, Wazzy has confirmed that Block by Block: The Amulet will not be releasing in 2025, as expected. He also went on to explain how big the project soon became, ever since the release of the original trailer. And because the cast and crew were consistently made up of fans with their own lives at school and work, production took a lot longer than expected. So much has changed ever since last year, along with progress.

Due to this massive delay, Wazzy has decided to not give Block by Block: The Amulet a release date until more real progress has been made.

To avoid more silence, there will be "direct sneak peeks, updates, and behind-the-scenes content", so fans can keep up with what is going on, as time progresses.

Additionally, Wazzy is also promising a small progress video very soon.

It is unknown when the progress video will come out, but more teasers and updates are expected to be releasing very soon.
