Just a couple days ago, Mojang Studios released a trailer teasing the upcoming live event, hinting at the hype centered around the new features that will be added to the game, including the highly anticipated Copper Golem, a mob that lost the highly infamous Mob Vote back in 2021.
Now that Mojang Studios has listened to the community's pleas to bring back the lost mobs, the Copper Golem has returned stronger than ever.
There are many new and exciting things to be expected from Minecraft Live.
In the previous Minecraft Live from March 22, 2025, it was confirmed that Mojang Studios will now be releasing at least 3-4 updates per year, in response to fans wanting more updates. So far, there have been two updates for each season: Spring to Life (Spring) and Chase the Skies (Summer). With each updated dedicated to a certain theme during a specific time of the year, there is massive speculation that the upcoming Fall Drop will receive the same treatment.
It is noted that this previously unnamed "Fall Drop of 2025", now called "The Copper Age", has a theme centered around the autumn colors, with the update being centered around copper.
The latest snapshots allowed players to experiment with Mojang Studios' newest uses with copper in the game, which included copper golems, copper tools, copper armor, as well as other features such as shelves and new textures for dye.
It is unknown whether or not there are going to be more unknown features announced in Minecraft Live, but many fans are very excited to finally put copper to even more use. But either way, copper will become more re-defined than ever.
It is speculated that September 2025 Minecraft Live will reveal the release date for the Copper Age Update.
In the March 2025 Minecraft Live, the developers at Mojang revealed the release date for their "Spring to Life" update, which was five days after the event, on March 27, 2025. In the live, they were also teasing the features in "Chase the Skies", an update that didn't come out until that following summer, which included happy ghasts and vibrant visuals.
Therefore, it is predicted that Copper Age will be released sometime in October. And the fans of Minecraft may be expecting new information for the Winter Drop of 2025.
