New MCSM-Inspired Series in the works at UltimaCore Studios

 

Within the creative fanbase of Minecraft: Story Mode, and Minecraft in general, a number of fan made animation projects are in progress, and are being made into their own YouTube series. From Minecraft Story Mode: World's Edge to Block by Block: The Amulet, many creative fans are writing and developing their own Minecraft-based adventure stories every day.

Therefore, it makes sense that another Story Mode-inspired series is currently in development.

On August 5, 2025, animation YouTuber UltimaCore, founder and leader of UltimaCore Studios, announced on YouTube and several Discord servers, teasing his new series to the Minecraft fans.

Nothing much is known about the plot or storyline yet, as it has just been announced. The only speculation about the series is that it will star five heroes, who get together to face the Wither Storm, an iconic world-destroying villain and boss mob from Minecraft: Story Mode.

The series is titled, "Virgo's Multiverse: Season 1".

UltimaCore is not only the founder and leader of UltimaCore Studios, but according to his Discord bio, he is also "a Business owner, Music producer/DJ and a Social Media Content Creator". He has 5,000 subscribers on his YouTube animation channel.

According to the post, UltimaCore has been working hard on this series for five years.

Although it has "Season 1" in the title, there is no confirmation yet on whether a Season 2 will be greenlit. It is predicted to release around the end of 2026.
